Terms of Service

Effective date: September 1, 2026 · Yuma Pool Pros (yumapoolpros.com)

These terms govern your use of this website and its referral service. By using the site or submitting a request, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What this service is

Yuma Pool Pros is an independent local resource, not a pool company. We publish cost, code, and licensing research for Yuma-area pool owners and pass service requests to independent local pool companies who do the actual work -- a cleaning specialist for routine service, or a licensed provider for repair and equipment jobs.

Yuma Pool Pros does not perform, supervise, quote, or guarantee pool work of any kind. When you submit a service request, it is forwarded to one independent local pool company matched to the kind of work described. Any estimate, agreement, scheduling, workmanship, pricing, or warranty is strictly between you and that company. We are not a party to that relationship and are not responsible for the acts or omissions of any independent provider.

2. Research content, not advice

The cost figures, statute summaries, code citations, and licensing explanations published here are researched from named public and published sources and dated when checked. They are general information — not legal advice, not engineering advice, and not a quote. Laws, codes, fees, and prices change; verify anything you intend to rely on against the primary source, your own contractor's written estimate, or your own attorney. Barrier-law content in particular describes minimum legal requirements and is never a reason to skip additional safety layers.

3. Licensing verification

Arizona draws a legal line between routine pool cleaning (which may be performed without a contractor license under the state's handyman exemption) and equipment repair, replacement, or structural work (which requires an active Arizona ROC license). Where this site describes a provider category as licensed, that reflects a dated check of the Registrar of Contractors' public records at the time stated — license status changes, so verify it yourself at azroc.my.site.com before hiring for repair or equipment work.

4. SMS / text-message program terms

Program. The Yuma Pool Pros service-request program sends transactional and customer-care text messages from Yuma Pool Pros — confirmations that a request was received, follow-ups about the request, and coordination messages connecting you with the matched provider. This program does not send promotional or marketing blasts.

  • Opt-in. You receive texts only if you gave consent — by checking the optional consent box on the request form or by texting the program's number first. Consent is not a condition of submitting a request or of any purchase.
  • Message frequency may vary with the status of your request.
  • Msg & data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates apply to messages sent and received.
  • Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to cancel and stop receiving texts. After you send STOP, you may receive one final message confirming the opt-out. To rejoin, opt in again.
  • Help. Reply HELP to any message for help, or reach us through the contact page.
  • Carrier disclaimer. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is outside our control.
  • Privacy. SMS opt-in data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy — it is never sold or shared for marketing, and your number is shared only with the matched provider fulfilling your request.

5. Eligibility — 18 and over

You must be at least 18 years old to submit a service request or opt in to the SMS program. By submitting a request you represent that you are 18 or older and that the contact information you provide is your own.

6. Acceptable use

Do not submit false requests, impersonate others, scrape or republish the site's content at scale, or use the site to harass providers or anyone else. We may decline or discard requests that appear fraudulent or abusive.

7. Intellectual property

The site's original text, research compilations, and design are owned by Yuma Pool Pros. You may quote reasonable excerpts with attribution and a link; wholesale reproduction is not permitted. Statutes and public codes quoted here are public documents — the compilation and commentary are what is ours.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and referral service are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yuma Pool Pros is not liable for the work, conduct, pricing, licensing status, or insurance of any independent provider, for decisions made in reliance on the site's research content, or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use this site — which is nothing, as the site is free to use.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from them will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Yuma County, Arizona.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this address with its effective date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions can be sent through the contact page.
